The report was based on data from the Boeing 737 Max 8’s recorders. The Ethiopian Airlines jet crashed just after taking off from Addis Ababa on March 10, killing all 157 on board. What is not clear is whether Boeing’s recommendations were followed by the Ethiopian pilots to the correspondence in managing the system repeatedly pointing down the nose. The official spoke on condition of anonymity since in the time investigators had not published their report. The procedures of boeing instruct pilots keep flying for the remainder of the flight and to depart from the MCAS system.
