According to recent reports, Call of Duty is heading back to World War 2. Rumors started swirling over the weekend when art from a game called Call of Duty: WW2 surfaced on TheFamilyVideogamers, rumors which have since been verified by Eurogamer. And it's that game which concerns me a little bit about a Call of duty: World War 2. Battlefield 1 succeeded not just because of it's down and dirty response to high-flying sci-fi, but due to the novel and largely unexplored setting of World War 1. World War 2 has no such novelty, even if it hasn't been such a popular setting in recent years.
