After all, both Coke Zero and Coke Zero Sugar are sugarless and instead have artificial sweeteners (aspartame and acesulfame potassium). Coke Zero Sugar does taste different from Coke Zero and is already a strong seller in Europe, the Middle East and Latin America, according to Jennifer Maloney for MarketWatch. While sugar may contribute to obesity, sugar is definitely not the sole cause of the continuing obesity epidemic.
