Jerry and Sherri David were fatally shot in their Reno home days after police said their assailant also shot two women in Gardnerville. RENO, Nev. - The Reno Rodeo Association has placed a plaque in front of the rodeo arena grandstand in recognition of a former association president and his wife who were victims of a homicide in January. Jerry David was the president of the Reno Rodeo in 2006. Sherri was a longtime member of the rodeo association. Both remained active in the organization until their deaths.
