When did “renewing wedding vows” become a thing? These joyous lunatics who are now proudly renewing their wedding vows are no different than gun nuts or hardcore vegans. There should actually be a law punishable by five to nine years of hard time for people who voluntarily renew their wedding vows. Renewing your wedding vows is like taking a citizenship test a second time after nailing it: you’re already in the country.
