When high school sweethearts Ferris and Margaret Romaire tied the knot in 1946, no one they knew owned a camera. Now, 70 years later, the couple has re-enacted their ceremony once more to capture the magical moment. She contacted photographer Lara Carter, who was happy to help with the unconventional shoot. So, on October 12 in Pearland, Texas, the Romaires tied the knot once more. The Romaires’ say their wedding years ago was a simple affair, with a 15-minute ceremony and the reception held later at the bride’s parents’ home.
