THE GOVERNMENT DECISION to put an end to mandatory mask wearing in all settings except healthcare has been welcomed in north Wexford. Mask wearing has been a huge challenge for young people as has the entire pandemic and now they’ll be able to live life a bit more normally again. Publican Jim French of French’s said that he feels it’s the right time for the ending of mask wearing. “At the moment it wasn’t necessarily being observed by most anyhow but think it’s the right thing to do now. If people came in without a mask we’d ask people to put it on and that was quite strong.
