In his address, the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, including the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara lauded the soldiers and called on the Federal Government and various military authorities to prioritise the welfare of our soldiers. Indeed, we can only imagine the enormous sacrifices that these soldiers pay in ensuring that we live as a unified entity. It is not enough to salute the courageous spirit of our soldiers but we must equally ensure that we provide all they need to be better soldiers and the longevity of their lives. In developed countries, the welfare of soldiers is given maximum attention. No sane country in the world would play with the welfare of soldiers.
