To me, the real heroes are ordinary men and women who, when faced with dangerous situations, take the responsibility to do the right thing even if it means risking their lives. What he did next is what separates a hero from an ordinary person. There are people who will leave it to others to do the right thing and then there are those who feel it is their responsibility to do what is right. It’s good to read about people who choose to do the right thing to help their fellow human beings. In my advanced age, it is my greatest hope that very this small story about a very ordinary Malaysian will inspire other young Malaysians to be ordinary heroes too.
