The Mayor of Windsor and Maidenhead, Cllr Dorothy Kemp – a long-standing governor at the school – cut the ribbon to launch the school’s new building. The Mayor, Cllr Andrew Jenner, was on hand to present the hard-earned prizes at the Youth Achievement Awards, held at the Magnet Leisure Centre. Stael Martins gave her last ever aerobics class at the Magnet Leisure Centre before heading back to live in her native Brazil with her family. 2019: Campaigners celebrated after councillors gave the go-ahead to build a pedestrian crossing across Braywick Road. More than 1,000 people had signed a petition calling for a crossing to protect pedestrians from speeding cars using the dual carriageway.
