Police are conducting a homicide investigation after the remains of a 21-year-old Edmonton man were discovered last month in Strathcona County, 21 months after he disappeared. Edmonton RCMP have assumed the lead role in the investigation, working in partnership with the Edmonton Police Service. "It is with a heavy heart, we report that his life was abruptly taken away from him," says Anttu Muhamed's post. On June 30, in a Facebook post, Muhamed's sister wrote "our family can finally be at peace."
