MANILA, Philippines — The remains of one of the Filipino workers who were killed in a car accident last Sunday in Singapore has arrived in the Philippines. According to the DFA, a simple ceremony and a mass were held in Singapore before Nucos’ remains were flown to the Philippines. Her wake will be held in her hometown in La Union. The DFA, meanwhile, said it is in close coordination with relevant authorities on when the remains of the other Filipino victim will be repatriated. The two Filipino workers were killed Sunday afternoon (December 29) when a car lost control and crashed into a group of Filipinos in Singapore’s Lucky Plaza mall, which is a popular spot among OFWs.
