PETALING JAYA: The private religious school where an 11-year-old boy was allegedly abused said it was aware that the assistant warden was a convicted criminal. The school knew that the assistant warden was released early for good behaviour. The school said the statement was released after almost two weeks of facing criticisms and accusations over Mohamad Thaqif's death. Mohamad Thaqif was hospitalised on April 19 following alleged abuse four weeks earlier by the assistant warden at MTAJ. The assistant warden is under remand until May 3.
