KTN News Oct 06,2018View More on KTN NewsdeskIt’s a sigh of relief for more than six thousand households who are victims of floods in Kilifi county after the Kenya red cross society begun the reconstruction of their houses which had been destroyed during the floods. The national government also set aside a total of one billion shillings for the exercise that is set to benefit more than forty thousand flood victims across the country. Speaking in Magarini, Kilifi County, after issuing iron sheets to the victims, Red Cross secretary general Abbas gullet says that once the construction is completed all the houses shall be branded with a government mark a plan which is facing opposition from some beneficiaries.
