Finally, the court said that the order of status-quo will remain in force only till Friday evening to enable the association to move the division bench. As this action of vacating the status-quo order could have allowed BBMP demolish the wall, the association counsel pleaded to keep the order in abeyance for a week to enable them to appeal to a division bench. The court observed that private interest has to yield to public cause. The owners of flats in Sobha Daffodil Condominium, HSR Layout, have got time till Friday to move a division bench against a single judge’s order of refusing to interfere in the proposed move of BBMP to demolish some portions of the complex’s compound , which was allegedly built blocking a road linking Haraluru through Somasundarapalya. BBMP counsel raised objection saying that the blocked road has to be cleared at the earliest as lakhs of people would be benefited as the area had seen traffic snarls during the rains.
