The Ockhi cyclone , which lashed across the southern peninsula, has moved further northwest into the Arabian Sea, giving slight relief to Kerala and Tamil Nadu. State Minister for tourism Kadakampally Surendran travelled in one of the aircraft and coordinated the search and rescue operations.
