Photo: Abhijit Bhatlekar/MintNew Delhi: Reliance Industries Ltd chairman Mukesh Ambani on Tuesday announced that his telecom venture, Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd, will start charging from its customers from 1 April. On the Jio data charges, Ambani said customers who adopt Jio before 31 March will have the option of signing up for Jio Prime at Rs99, plus a monthly charge of Rs303 per month, to continue using existing unlimited services for a year i.e. Also read | Mukesh Ambani unveils new Reliance Jio tariff plans, including Prime membershipAmbani began his press briefing on Tuesday highlighting Reliance Jio’s achievements in the last five months. His briefing is coming at a time when Jio’s Happy New Year offers of free voice and data services, lapses on 31 March.
