Speaking with Atinka News Thursday, he said it was sad day for the rule of law in Ghana, adding that the NPP government does not believe in the rule of law as it claims. “They say they are advocates of the rule of law, but they are rather hypocrites,” he slammed. The PNC chair laughed off claims by the police that there was no evidence to prosecute the thugs. The court, presided over by Her Honour Patricia Amponsah, discontinued the case because the prosecution said they lacked evidence against the accused persons.
