Relatives of Ethiopian plane crash victims ask the government to mediate on compensationLeaders and relatives of Kenyans who perished in the ill-fated Ethiopian plane crash have called on the government to ensure that the affected families are compensated. Led by Nyandarua Governor Francis Kimemia, the leaders and relatives insisted on the need to by the Kenyan government to make a follow-up and ensure that the affected families have been compensated. Speaking on Thursday when he attended a mass to celebrate the life of Ben Gathu who was among the 157 people who died in the crash, Governor Kimemia said that the Kenyan government should hold the airline responsible for the deaths its citizens. He said that recently several countries banned the planes from flying in their airspaces which resulted to the grounding of all the Max 8 planes by the manufacturing company till a thorough investigation is done on the cause of the crashes. 12 seconds ago
