Although tickets for the 2019 NHL Heritage Classic at Mosaic Stadium aren’t yet available to the general public, hotels in Regina are already sold out for the night of the outdoor game on Oct. 26. When Winnipeg hosted the NHL Heritage Classic (in 2016), it was a city-wide sellout. The Heritage Classic is projected to create an economic impact of $15 million to $18 million. There are also hotel rooms available in surrounding communities like Moose Jaw, which is less than 45 minutes away. That’s really what our overall goal was as a team (in bringing the Heritage Classic to Regina).
