After Hurricane Matthew brought destruction to many parts of Haiti, a Regina church felt compelled to do their part to help relief and rebuild efforts in Haiti. Soup for Haiti was a fundraiser hosted by Saint Jean Baptiste parish in Regina on Sunday. Lisa Poirier volunteered at the Soup for Haiti fundraiser. "It's disheartening because it's such a beautiful place," Poirier said about Haiti. "It breaks our hearts that [Haiti] always seems to have one more hardship to face after another."
