Regina-based Brandt to hire more than 1,000 new employees by end of the year

The Brandt group of companies has announced that it will hire more than 1,000 new employees by the end of the year. The new positions will be located throughout the more than 100 locations operated by the Regina-based company across Canada and the U.S., according to a news release issued on Wednesday. The company, best known for manufacturing agricultural machinery, described the new positions as a "major investment" as Saskatchewan recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic. Brandt says the rebound in the global economy is one factor in the hiring drive, but the main driver is the "organic growth" in its business. With the new hires it expects to hit 4,400 by the end of the year.
