John Paddock’s expectations for the Regina Pats in the second half of the season don’t appear to be too high or too low. Regina would have to leapfrog three teams to grab that spot, which is a tall order at the best of times. We play a lot of games against teams that are ahead of us or just ahead of us. Regina will need all hands on deck as it prepares for eight games in just 13 days after the break. That’s followed immediately by the team’s annual West Coast road trip, which features five more games in just eight days.
