In her first overseas trip since becoming prime minister, Ardern will raise her view on Australia's response to the Manus Island humanitarian crisis in face-to-face talks. While they're expected to cross paths at the APEC Summit in Vietnam and East Asia Summit in the Philippines next week, Ardern wanted the chance to formally meet first. The rights of Kiwis living in Australia are also expected to come up in the discussions.
