Reformed cocaine addict Robert Downey Jr. has opened up about his prison stint saying that jail had 'evil in the air' and it was the 'most dangerous place' he's ever been. During the podcast, hosted by Dax Shepard and Monica Padman, Downey - who was introduced to weed at the age of six by his actor dad Robert Downey Sr - talked about his time being incarcerated in 1999. Now long sober and wildly successful, Downey Jr. described during the podcast how troubled he was at the time. During this time, Downey Jr. served 15 months in state prison in Corcoran, California. In December 2015, Governor of California Jerry Brown issued an unconditional pardon to Downey for his prior drug convictions.
