In a similar fashion, the oil for delivery in February contracts was trading higher by Rs 2.10, or 0.30 per cent to Rs 704.60 per 10 kg in 27,280 lots. Analysts said widening of positions by participants, tracking a firm trend at spot market on surging demand against tight stock position on fall in supplies from producing belts, mainly kept refined soya oil prices higher at futures trade.
