It’s the fourth time Manusky, 50, will serve as a NFL defensive coordinator. The Redskins also requested permission to interview Houston Texans linebackers coach Mike Vrabel and defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel, but they were both promoted as well. The Redskins opted to retain inside linebackers coach Kirk Olivadotti and assistant defensive backs coach Aubrey Pleasant, however.
