That has aided his progress as he captured the Youth World Championships gold (48kg) — his high-point in his career so far — in 2022. Before that, he had captured the yellow metal at the Asian Youth Championships. But in the long run, Vishwanath, who aspires to be part of the Olympics in the future, can move to a higher weight category.
