Red River College says it is increasing security at its Exchange District campus after one of its faculty members was viciously attacked Tuesday evening near city hall. Police says a 42-year-old man was rushed to hospital Tuesday night in a random attack. Police say the attacker didn't say anything to the college instructor, who didn't know him. The instructor tried to flag down drivers passing by while he was being attacked, but no one stopped to help, police said. Red River College officials say they are extending the hours of security until 11 p.m. at the ACE Project Space on McDermot after the "extremely upsetting incident."
