PETALING JAYA: Selangor may not have made the best of starts in the Super League but the Red Giants can take heart that they have a youngster who is showing huge potential to be a future star. Midfielder Aliff Haiqal Lau (pic) has played in all of Selangor’s five games so far and the 20-year-old is showing a maturity beyond his years in his demanding position. For the record, he has played 258 minutes for Selangor and has made the starting line-up for two matches. Aliff is savouring every opportunity and is highly motivated to make more contributions to the team in the coming matches. Selangor lie seventh in the Super League standings with only five points from five matches.
