KUALA LUMPUR: FA of Selangor (FAS) have made the decision to promote Muhammad Nazliazmi Mohamad Nasir as coach of the Red Giants effective today (Tuesday), replacing former coach P. Maniam who was supposedly ‘rested’ since March 14. Muhammad Nazliazmi Mohamad Nasir is the new coach of Selangor. "I think there shouldn’t be any problems for Rusdi (Suparman) in becoming assistant coach to Nazliazmi as they have worked together before when they were in charge of Selangor’s President’s Cup squad. Rauf added that Rusdi, who also has coaching experience with the national Under-23 side, will sign his contract this coming Sunday (April 7). Rusdi however is said to still be under contract to Kuantan FA as an assistant coach.
