Red Bull executive calls Jurgen Klopp departure rumours ‘complete nonsense’

Oliver Mintzlaff, CEO of corporate projects and investments at Red Bull, has described reports that Jurgen Klopp could be close to leaving the organisation as “complete nonsense”. “He invests a great deal, is in constant communication with our coaches and sporting directors, and is sustainably developing our Red Bull football philosophy. That’s where we are focusing all our energy and attention.”The Red Bull network is comprised of Bundesliga club RB Leipzig, Austria’s Red Bull Salzburg, New York Red Bulls in the United States, Red Bull Bragantino in Brazil and RB Omiya Ardija in Japan. “Red Bull gave me an opportunity to find a role which we have been defining together, step by step. One year in, five years of experience gained.”Klopp joined Red Bull after nearly nine years at Liverpool, where he won the Champions League in 2019 and the 2019-20 Premier League title.
