People will be able to pay their final respects to Arif from 11 am to 1 pm at the Central Shaheed Minar. The body will be taken for funeral prayers to the Dhaka University Mosque for funeral prayers after Zuhr. The freedom fighter will then be laid to rest next to the grave of his mother in Uttara on Tuesday evening. Kazi Arif, 65, had passed away on Saturday while undergoing treatment at a hospital in New York. Kazi Arif was born on Oct 31, 1952 in Faridpur’s Rajbarhi and grew up in Chittagong.
