Most of the beneficiaries indicated that the laptops were fitted with faulty and duplicate parts and so they were facing several problems using them. It was learnt that the cost involved in getting such laptops repaired was not worth investing and people were preferring to sell them off instead. He said that when he went to get the laptop repaired, the hardware engineer told him that duplicate parts were fitted inside the laptop and hence it was having several problems. Another recipient of this project Abhishek Yadav has altogether invested 9000 rupees for the repair of the laptop which he got in 2012. She recalled that in the class, her friends have been asking her to try and sell off the laptop.
