But among the wide pool of all registered voters, support for recalling the governor drops to 36%, with 51% supporting keeping Newsom in office. The poll was conducted July 18-24, with 5,795 registered voters – including 3,266 likely recall election voters – questioned. The overall margin of error is plus or minus 2 points, with a sampling error of plus or minus 2.5 votes for likely voters.
