Now Manawatū stalwart Corey Governor has started the Takaro Taniwha club, aligned with his Takaro Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu club at Takaro School, with Pita Marshall. Governor’s son Jahlon, a gun playmaker, will be available once the club rugby season is over. He hoped now the club league competition was held after the rugby season it might attract more players to the 13-man code.
