Ancelotti confirmed afterwards that Bellingham had suffered an ankle sprain and now Real have provided a fresh update after he was sent for a scan. ‘Following tests carried out today on Jude Bellingham by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a sprain in his left ankle,’ read the brief statement. As things stand, Real are hoping to have him back in time for their Champions League last-16 second-leg clash against RB Leipzig on March 7. That means Bellingham will miss the first leg away to Leipzig on Tuesday, as well as La Liga clashes against Rayo Vallecano, Sevilla and Valencia. The injury will be a huge blow to Real, with Bellingham having performed incredibly so far this season.
