It was a tale of two halves at the Estadio Benito Villamarin as Barcelona proved too much for Real Betis. A drab first half saw the teams go in level at 0-0 at half time, before Barca run amok in the second 45 minutes. Ivan Rakitic scored the first goal, before Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez added two more, making it three in 10 minutes. Messi and Suarez then both doubled their tallies with good finishes, each coming after good runs from the Argentine forward.
