Reading University secured this position by excelling in several SDGs. A University of Reading spokesperson said: “The University of Reading has made sustainability its number one mission, and we embed our commitment to environmental sustainability across all subject areas and activities. “This strong ranking performance reflects Reading’s leadership as a university in supporting sustainable development via the United Nations’ Global Goals. Reading also performed well in life below water, life on land, and peace, justice, and strong institutions, where it ranked 101-200. In partnership for the goals, Reading came joint 39th out of 2,389.
