Razzak said people around him had strongly predicted a Bangladesh defeat with such a mammoth target to chase. “Bangladesh had started well with the bat and then Shakib and Liton were brilliant to put on that 189-run partnership and take them over the line,” Razzak added. While chasing the big target, Bangladesh had a decent start with openers Tamim Iqbal and Soumya Sarkar adding 48 and 29 runs, respectively to the board at a fiery rate. “He (Shakib) made another century in the win over the West Indies, his second in this tournament with two other half-centuries. I have played with him many times over the years but this is the best form of his career,” the veteran added.
