She noted that Mr Rawlings was instrumental in the areas of road infrastructure, electricity and telecommunications extension to the Northern sector, “When Rawlings was President, he was able to bring electricity from the South to the North. “Aside that, he created Upper West Region out of the former Upper Region. Ghana is the loser with his sudden demise.”Former President Rawlings died at age 73 on November 12, 2020 at the Korle-Bu Teaching hospital in Accra after a short illness.
