GOMBAK: A lone female thief, who targeted female suraus in Rawang to commit her crime, has been arrested. The 37-year-old woman had stolen valuables such as handbags and mobile phones belonging to the female suraus’ congregation. Gombak police chief Assistant Commissioner Arifai Tarawe said the woman was arrested by a team from Rawang police station who conducted a surveillance on her at 2pm. However, they managed to apprehend her and she was brought to Rawang police station for further investigation,” he said. “The police also seized a few handbags, two mobile phones, a wristwatch and a bank book.
