Raven Klaasen's Wimbledon run still alive despite men's doubles loss

South African doubles ace Raven Klaasen and his partner Ben McLachlan of Japan lost in the men's double quarter-finals at Wimbledon on Wednesday. They went down in straight sets, 6-7 (0/7), 4-6 and 3-6 to Simone Bolelli (Italy) and Maximo Gonzalez (Argentina) in a match that lasted 2 hours and 16 minutes. Bolelli and Martinez were impressive on their first serves, winning 90% of them with a service percentage of 63%. Klaasen's and McLachlan could only register a first serve percentage of 60% and only won points on 60% of those. The South African's best ever result at Wimbledon was losing in the men's doubles final in 2018 with his New Zealand partner Michael Venus.
