Wednesday night, Donald Trump sat down with ABC’s David Muir for his first televised interview since his inauguration. The interview won the night with 7.5 million viewers and a 1.7 rating among adults 18-49. On Tuesday night, NBC hit This is Us beat Trump’s interview across the board with a 2.8 rating in the demo and 9.51 total viewers. As he often did during presidential debates, Trump interrupted Muir numerous times as the host tried to clarify or ask additional questions. Throughout the interview, Trump remained down on the country, reiterating the darkness of his inauguration speech.
