Popular restaurant to retain operations at Boulder's Broker InnThe search for a permanent home for the displaced Ras Kassa's Ethiopian Restaurant, which began almost two years ago before the celebrated eatery was ousted to make space for the slated Google campus, has ended in Lafayette. Hailu had been operating out of the Rodeway Inn & Suites Boulder Broker since earlier this summer. Restaurant space in east Boulder County is easier to find than in the city of Boulder, though only slightly, said Todd Walsh, of Boom Properties. Ras Kassa's new Lafayette home looks to open Dec. 16, with a grand opening slated for early January. The Broker Inn operations will continue in conjunction with the restaurant's new permanent residence.
