Rare heart condition killed Nkaissery, foul play ruled out

A team of experts who conducted a postmortem examination have released a report that shows the late interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery died of heart attack. “With the investigations, we have done, we rule out any foul play,” said Dr Bessie Byakika at a press conference last evening after the daylong examination. According to Byakika, the procedure conducted yesterday to determine the cause of Nkaisserry’s death indicated that he suffered a condition known as Myocardial infarction. That in layman’s terms means there was a spontaneous coronary artery dissection heart attack which is as a result of heart arteries bursting. The postmortem examination was conducted yesterday on the body of the late CS who died on Saturday morning at His Karen home having not shown any signs of sickness on Friday.
