Slinking through the darkness, these stunning images show an ultra-rare black leopard in action. This is the first time that one has been caught on camera 'properly' in Africa for 100 years. Burrard-Lucas told MailOnline Travel that it had been his dream to photograph the black leopard since childhood. Working in collaboration with biologists from San Diego Zoo in the area, Burrard-Lucas went about installing camera traps in a well-protected area where the black leopard was rumoured to frequent. All I can see is eyes but this is a black leopard emerging from the darkness.
