The Raptors weren’t exactly sure what they were getting when they signed DeAndre’ Bembry about a month before the season began. Bembry’s become a de facto fourth point guard on a roster that was missing its top two ballhandlers again Tuesday against the Los Angeles Lakers. And he realizes that the versatility is his ticket to continued NBA employment, in Toronto or somewhere else. “I think he is a secondary point guard or a secondary ball handler but I don’t think he likes being the full-time guy that much,” coach Nick Nurse said.
