Raptors nearing franchise turning point: Arthur

Kyle Lowry isn't the problem, but the state of the Raptors at season's end will determine where they're going, and whether they want to fork out perhaps $200 million to keep the all-star point guard. The Raptors are overplaying Lowry and are still losing close games, and going flat against mediocre teams. A healthy Raptors team can beat Boston, or Washington, or Atlanta, or whomever. And if this version of the Raptors flops, then maybe it’s big decision time, existential decision time, an odometer birthday. It’s been a really terrific few years, but the idea of these Raptors is what’s at stake, starting now.
