NEW ORLEANS—The multitude of capable Raptors point guards presents a multitude of possibilities for coach Dwane Casey, and he is exploring them all early in the NBA season. Kyle Lowry with Delon Wright, Wright with Fred VanVleet, Lowry with VanVleet, all three at the same time — no combination is beyond the coach’s grasp. “They were guarding, they were hounding the basketball, they were attacking the pick and roll,” Casey said. “It can work in any situation if we guard and are scrapping, rebounding and making shots,” VanVleet said. It is, after all, NBA playing time on a good team with a chance to win almost every night.
